Served as Project Manager on collaborative project with scholars from Fisk University, Tennessee State University, Belmont University, and Vanderbilt University . These were funded by an Andrew W. Mellon Partners for Humanities Education Grant.




“Walking” Students Through Nashville’s Diverse History: Developing Digital Lesson Plans for Nashville Sites Walking and Driving Tours


As Project Manager, I supervised the composition of lesson plans for grades 4-12 that accompany Nashville Sites tours of Nashville's African American History. These were funded by a Andrew W. Mellon Partners for Humanities Education Grant.




Researching and Interpreting LGBTQ+ History in Nashville, TN


Partnership between Nashville Sites and Nashville Queer History, through which we worked with the community to build a digital archive and create a driving tour. Funded by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.




Plating the Past: A Year with the NCNW Historical Cookbook - In Beta


Co-Creator: Blog in which we consider the historical significance, worldview, and creativity of African American women, while cooking the recipes they compiled.
